The idea for Argend’Or came in 2004
when I celebrated my own fairytale wedding.
The evening party was turned into a masked
ball and guests chose from a range of masks,
adorned with rhinestones and diamanté, which
I had lovingly made for them over the preceding
months. This was a night to remember, not just
for me and my new husband but also for our
guests - friends, family and colleagues - all of
whom have kept their masks as a memento of
an unforgettable night.

My wedding became the catalyst for me to
use my creativity and skills as an artist and
craftsman into fulfilling the dreams and
aspirations of others.

Almost by accident it also provided me with
the opportunity to develop my own business,
specialising in a niche area but using a wide
range of art and craft materials and skills to
meet the express needs of an increasing client
base. Every mask is unique, hand-crafted and
special, and each is given it’s own name and
wrapped in cellophane and ribbon. None of
them can ever be repeated and all of them can
be displayed as a keepsake long after the
occasion for which they were made.
